Cancellation Policy
We will accept rescheduling/cancellations up to 24 hours before your booking. Please note,
rescheduling is free of charge; however, cancellations will be subject to a £5 cancellation
charge (in addition to your booking fee). If we cancel your booking, for example, due to the
weather, we will refund the full amount minus the booking fee.

When are you open?
Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from beginning of March to end October, weather
permitting. We are also usually open Bank Holiday Mondays, plus a few extra days during
school holidays. Keep an eye out on My Riding Life for updates.
What should I wear?
It is a condition of riding at Lodge Farm that all riders must wear a riding hat and a body
protector conforming to current British Eventing standards.
What happens if I need to change or cancel my booking?

What is the minimum age?
Riders must be 8 years old or over. Horses must be 4 years old or over.
How much is it to book?

How long can I stay?
Booking slots are for two hours and we ask that you arrive, ride and leave within this window
to avoid congestion in busy periods.

Do you offer discounts?
We offer discounts for organised Pony Club and Riding Club groups. These must be booked
via email: bookings@lodgefarmcrosscountry.co.uk
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but must be kept on SHORT leads AT ALL TIMES.
What height are your fences?
The majority of our fences are between 60cm to 1m, however we have a good selection at
around 50cm including small ditches and banks. Some of the lines we have built are BE
novice/intermediate standard. Due to the open nature of the course it is not suitable for
complete beginners.
Do you organise clinics?
We don’t organise our own clinics, but can point you in the direction of local trainers who do.
Clinic dates are regularly updated on our website. To book, contact the clinic organiser
directly.
